Aktivno smo sodelovali pri zasnovi, prijavi in uresničitvi mednarodnega projekta sodelovanja v okviru programa Kreativna Evropa z naslovom Srečevanja z gozdom. Srečevanja z gozdom (2023–25) je zasnovan kot interdisciplinarno sodelovanje partnerjev iz Slovenije, Avstrije in Belgije s fokusom na razvijanje večplastnega razumevanja različnih vrednot, pomenov, izzivov in perspektiv, povezanih z gozdovi. Z združevanjem umetnosti, gozdarstva in humanistike pristopa h gozdu kot prostoru raziskovanja ekologije, pa tudi raznolikih, pogosto konfliktnih politik ter družbenih, kulturnih in ekonomskih praks.
Partnerji projekta so: Društvo Igor Zabel za kulturo in teorijo, Ljubljana (vodilni partner), s katerimi smo sodelovali v Sloveniji; Inštitut za prostorsko oblikovanje Fakultete za arhitekturo Tehnične univerze v Gradcu; in OUT OF SIGHT, AntwerpenProjekt sofinancira Evropska unija.

We actively participated in the conception, application, and implementation of the international cooperation project under the Creative Europe programme entitled Forest Encounters. Forest Encounters (2023–25) is as an interdisciplinary collaboration among partners from Slovenia, Austria, and Belgium, focusing on the development of a multi-layered understanding of the different values, meanings, challenges, and perspectives related to forests. By bringing together art, forestry, and the humanities, the project approaches the forest as a space for exploring ecology as well as diverse, often conflicting, political agendas and social, cultural, and economic practices.
The project partners are: the Igor Zabel Association for Culture and Theory, Ljubljana (lead partner), with whom we collaborated in Slovenia; the Institute of Spatial Design at the Faculty of Architecture of Graz University of Technology; and OUT OF SIGHT, Antwerp. The project is co-financed by the European Union.
